Over the span of a year, Fall, spring and summer terms, students will work with the instructor to memorize the 29th juz’ of the Holy Quran in a small-group setting. Class time will provide active support from the instructor in the memorization process, including group and individual activities, tajwīd practice, memorization review, and memorization quizzes. Students will gain memorization strategies and tools, and daily homework assignments will help them to solidify and retain what they have memorized. Students will memorize at the pace of about one page each week, with the goal of completing all of Juz’ 29 by the end of the second term. Live attendance is required to ensure full benefit.
By the end of this course, students will be able to:

Students are expected to attend all scheduled class sessions and participate actively in their learning. To ensure a successful online learning experience, all students must have regular access to a personal computer and reliable high-speed internet. Courses at Ribāṭ University are delivered through Canvas and may include video lectures, interactive discussions, digital readings, and multimedia assignments.
Students are responsible for maintaining the technology needed to participate fully.
Students should be comfortable with basic computer operations, including using email, browsing the internet, uploading and downloading files, and navigating an online learning platform. Training resources and orientation will be provided for students who need additional guidance.
