About the Sanad Center
The Sanad Center at Ribāṭ University is dedicated to preserving the living tradition of transmission (sanad) by connecting students to both the Quran and the Prophetic legacy through authenticated chains of narration. Rooted in a lineage that traces back to the Prophet ﷺ, the Center upholds sacred knowledge as a trust carried in both hearts and voices, passed carefully from teacher to student across generations.
Through a nurturing yet rigorous environment, the Sanad Center offers women a structured path to excellence in:
Mastery of the rules and application of precise, beautiful recitation.
Guided memorization grounded in consistency, retention, and reflection.
Authorization to transmit the Quran through an unbroken chain upon demonstrated mastery.
Personalized recitation sessions with qualified female teachers.
Engagement with selected ḥadīth texts, introduction to the science of isnād, and opportunities to receive ijāzah in the transmission (riwāyah) of ḥadīth collections through connected chains.
Emphasis on intention, adab, and embodying the ethics of the Qur’an and Sunnah.
Grounded in the ethos of Rabata, integrating scholarship, spirituality, and service, the Sanad Center nurtures women who not only master recitation and narration, but who live the meanings of what they carry.

The Recited Quran: A Blessed Chain Leading to the Prophet ﷺ
Reciting the Quran is one of the most important acts of worship to perform in Ramadan. It was the month when the Quran was first brought down to the heavens of this world and during this month, the Angel Jibreel (‘alayhi-s-salaam) would complete a yearly review of the Quran with the Prophet ﷺ. So it is of the sunnah to increase our Quran reading during this Holy month.
