In this level, learners will expand the range of verbs they can conjugate by adding weak-end roots and examining the orthography of the letter hamza. They will also learn how to construct different types of conditional sentences, and noun-number phrases for numbers 11-99. They will also explore exceptions to the usual rules for case endings by learning about a wider range of diptotes. Students will apply their knowledge of these constructions to the topics of art and literature in the Arab world and around the globe using vocabulary found in classical\/ liturgical as well as more modern texts.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong>Module Content: \u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>Course Prerequisites:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<ul>\n<li>Students should be women above the age of 17.<\/li>\n<li>Arabic Intermediate High 2 or equivalent knowledge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4><strong>Placement:\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>If this is your first Arabic course at Riverstead, you are required to submit a placement test. Click here for the\u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #c3976a;\"><a style=\"color: #c3976a;\" href=\"https:\/\/register.rabata.org\/product?catalog=ARL-placement\">Arabic Placement<\/a><\/span><\/strong>\u00a0test.<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Course Requirements:<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>Students are expected to attend 2 online classes each week, complete weekly assignments, submit a personal project and a final exam.<\/p>\n<p>This is a fast-paced, rigorous course and assignments are due weekly. Recordings of the sessions will be made available for registered students who cannot attend live.
