This is a two-part course:<br \/>\n1. Students will attend a weekly online session with the instructor to follow up on their progress and receive inspiration and tips on memorizing the Holy Quran, achieving effective memorization, and overcoming hurdles.<br \/>\n2. Each student will be paired with a certified tajw\u012bd teacher online, with whom she will work one-on-one or in a small group. This part of the course will be complete when the student has recited the amount agreed upon at the start of the term, having demonstrated the ability to apply the rules of tajw\u012bd to the standardized and acceptable level.<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"Apple-style-span\">Course Prerequisites:<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>\u25aa Successful completion of Arabic Novice High, ARL 131*<br \/>\n\u25aa Successful completion of TAJ 201 and 202 OR TAJ 203<br \/>\n\u25aa Successful completion of TAJ 301*<\/p>\n<p>*starred items may be waived through an assessment<\/p>\n<h4><span class=\"Apple-style-span\">Tajwid Placement:\u00a0<\/span><\/h4>\n<p>New students in the Riverstead Tajw\u012bd Program are required to complete an assessment.\u00a0Based on that, they will receive a recommendation on the best course to start with.
